National Online Safety - WhatsApp

The National College have produced some helpful guides for internet use, which are helpful for both children and adults. This week's guide is about the app WhatsApp, which is an instant messaging and voice-over-IP service owned by technology conglomerate Meta. It allows users to send text, voice messages and video messages, make voice and video calls, and share images, documents, user locations, and other content.

The age restriction for WhatsApp is 16+ and 18+ content can be shared using the app.
