We believe every learner is an individual with a unique personality and characteristics. Inclusion therefore lies at the heart of everything we do. We place great value on preparing our students to thrive in 21st century Britain Our curriculum is built around our #LiveLoveLearn philosophy.
We focus on the growth and development of the whole person, a sense of togetherness and empowering everyone as a leader and a learner. The learning our children experience is a broad and balanced diet that provides intellectual, moral, creative and emotional stimulation. We believe our curriculum enables our students to flourish by learning how to take care of themselves mentally and physically in order to fulfil their academic potential, whilst learning how to love in the wider sense and embrace opportunities to live in order to enjoy life to the full. Our students learn how to #LiveLoveLearn in harmony; a philosophy we also apply to our staff.
The school began in the 1950s as a secondary modern but expanded rapidly during the 1970s and 1980s so the school is based across a large campus with different blocks with specialist facilities for different subject areas. The school is land-rich and we have extensive grounds with several sports fields.
We have an open-door policy and welcome anyone to make an appointment to visit.
